Well, I would actually have posted it to a public forum, not the mailing list (if I had, I could have done an experiment and seen what happens), but the mailing list is a terrible place to do experiments (to put it mildly, but I think it's because no-one is there to observe us, so we don't test ourselves), so it's not. Furthermore, I'm also guessing that you know when people are in the mindset that will do something so different, and so that isn't really a problem. I'm just wondering if there will at least be a couple of people who will try the new feature, and, if you would just comment on the post, would see if those are the sort of people that may be interested. I don't think it's going to happen (if it does, it will be an issue that has been solved years ago, but if it doesn't, it will get fixed much sooner). So, I don't really think that is a problem.
